In this class, you will learn the history behind
the Japanese hand-sewing art form called Sashiko, what makes it so
unique, the best materials and tools to use, and how to stitch in this style.
You will begin hand stitching your own project, practicing what you have
just learned. (No hand applique will be taught.)
Beginner friendly, no hand sewing experience necessary.
Kits available for purchase from the host quilt shop.
I highly recommend getting a kit for the first time you try this!
Finishing the piece into a quilt may be offered as another class.
