It’s here, It’s here. I am “sew” excited to announce our very first Featherweight Doctor Quilt Camp. We will be meeting here at our home base in Sandpoint, Idaho. The quilting retreat will be located at the Edgewater Best Western on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille at the base of Schweizer Mountain.
Our itinerary will begin with a Opening Party - with food - reception at Sand Creek Quilting, Home of Featherweight Doctor, Thursday night May 30st 2024. The next 3 days will with open sews with some group activities and then the closing event back at SCQ on Sunday June 2th 2024.
There will be a continental breakfast served each morning on sewing days with hot lunch provided as well. We will try our best to accommodate food allergies. The paid entry also includes a T-Shirt, and swag bag. Dinners, Lodging and Travel will be at your own expense.
The closest Airport is Spokane International, airport code GEG. Retreat location is about 1 hour and 15 mins from the Airport. Rooms are available at the Quilt Camp location for around $200 a night. Roommates are encouraged to split the expense. There are other establishments like the Cedar Street Inn and Airbnbs for alternative cost options. There is an RV park at retreat location as well called City Beach RV Park.
The total cost for the event is $375, not including travel expenses . This product on our website is for the $150 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable but transferable. The balance is $225 and will be due 45 days from the event on April 16, 2023. We do not have a pay in full option at this time as we only have 24 seats. This is how our software makes sure we do not over book. An email reminder will be send out for balance owed.
